Happiness

In this post, I do not consider that I achieved the desire happiness yet!
From the posted Emotional Intelligence reflections, there are some areas where I need to improve in order to achieve the optimum happiness in my life. There are many personal factors that are currently affecting this goal to be achieved, which I am aware of.
Before studying this course, I used to sacrifice things or let it go because of other people in my life which affect my happiness, but not anymore. Now, I can say (NO) when it’s required and end a relation which negativity impacts me and focus on creating and achieving what makes me a happier person.
Recently, I started listing small things that I hope to achieve or achieved in short and long term. Guess what! I found in the list that I have achieved two of my goals which are continuing my bachelor studies and get a shooting start at work.
I believe in such statement and to not let anything pull us down or stop us from being happy. We need to understand the difference between pleasure and happiness. Awareness of the mind and how to direct its thoughts, beliefs and emotions, opens new paths of possibility. Our life becomes much different when we are the one directing our mind instead of letting it direct us.
Take pleasure in the small things in life and reduce the negativity that surrounds our thoughts to appreciate the small things that we enjoy in life.
